Configuring DSSI Controllers and Disk ISEs?

» close window

The Question is:

Hi,

Sorry for the double send - this has the complete question.

I have a Cluster made up of two 2100's with a DSSI buss (via KFESA's)
running between. One of my 2100's I/O module (B2110) Failed - which I have
replaced and updated with the latest firmware (6.0).

My question is; how do I reconfigure the I/O module to reestablish
connection to the DSSI Buss and all it's devices (HSD's and disks). When I
boot the system to the Console prompt (P00>>) and issue a 'show conf', my
KFESA does not see any devices att
ached to it. Where as the other node in the cluster still sees all the devices
on the buss and boots properly (thanks to quorum disk).

I have tried to locate a copy of the DSSI OpenVMS Cluster Installation and
Troubleshooting Manual but to no avail. Where can I get a copy of this?

Btw: This cluster (KNGBUD) was built while I was still part of Digital
 Equipment(LKG)!
  Ya gotta help me....
