Third-party Hardware? (StorageTek tape library)

The Question is:

 
I will know if tape station STK 9840 is supported in this VMS version. If it is
 can you tell me how I can see it in VMS.

The Answer is :

 
  Please contact StorageTek for information on and support of StorageTek
  products.  The HP OpenVMS Engineering organization does not support the
  StorageTek 9840 series library, though potentially another HP custom
  systems group, or StorageTek, or a third-party organization might well
