» close window

The Question is:

Is the MSA1000 supported as a shared storage for a SAN VMS Cluster, with
 multi-path failover?

Does the MSA1000 support booting vms from a shared system disk?

Is volume shadowing supported between two MSA1000 logical drives.?

Any assistance will be appreciated.

The Answer is :

Please see the http://www.hp.com/go/msa1000 for the most
up to date information on the MSA1000.

At this time the firmware for using the MSA1000 with
Alphaservers has not yet been released.

A dual controller MSA1000 will support failover from one
controller to another, and multiple host based fibre adapters
on each host can connect to each MSA1000 controllers, so that
you do not need to have a single point of failure.

Booting from the MSA1000 and host based volume shadowing
will be supported.
