How do you hook a modem up to an Alpha?
 
 


The Answer is :

 
  The specific answer depends highly on the particular Alpha system.
 
  For information ojn the more general interpretation for the

  Specifics of configuring the modem itself will require a review
  of the modem's documentation.
 
  Access to and use of a serial-line breakout box will be useful
  should problems arise while wiring the connection.   This device
  is a diagnostic tool that can be invaluable in determining the
  particular wiring requirements and in debugging.
