Windows 2000 SP4 Support Tools

These updated Windows 2000 Support Tools will help support personnel and network administrators better manage their networks and troubleshoot problems.

How to Download and Install

In the Download box, click SP4 Support Tools.

In the File Download box, click Save this program to disk, and then click OK.

Navigate to the file location, and then open SP4SupportTools.exe.
The Windows 2000 Support Tools Setup Wizard opens.

Click Next.

On the EULA screen, click I agree, and then click Next.

Type your name and organization, and then click Next.

Select Typical or Custom installation, and then click Next.

•	If you chose the Typical installation method, click Next again to install the tools in a default directory (Note: By default, the support tools are installed on C:\Program Files\Support Tools).
•	If you chose the Custom installation method, choose components and change the installation directory, if necessary, and then click Next.

Click Next to begin the installation.

After the installation completes, click Finish to exit the wizard.

Typical download times: 30 minutes @ 56 Kbps | 12 minutes @ broadband 128 Kbps

Note Tools can be accessed from Start\Run\Program Files\Support Tools, unless you chose Custom installation and changed the location of the files. The Support Tools are also available on the Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 CD in the \support\tools directory.
