On-Site Parts Services (OPS) provides ready access to spare parts -- for
Compaq or multivendor platforms -- for customers who:

Are supporting a mission-critical application and need the extra
protection of an on-site spare parts inventory.

Are involved in a technology project and need spare parts to support the
development phase only.

Operate in an environment of rapidly changing technology and want to
avoid the cost of spare parts obsolescense.
A spare parts inventory can be stocked either centrally or at multiple
locations of your choice. OPS can support in- or out-of-warranty
equipment, and Compaq can serve as your agent for warranty claims
management with many vendors. The service is available for a fixed monthly
fee over one, two or three year period.

Growth: Products can be added within the term of the OPS Agreement to
facilitate expansion and technology enhancements for the installed base.
End-Of-Term:
At the end of the payment schedule, you may renew your agreement, purchase the spare parts at fair market value or return them to Compaq.
