KZPCM
The DEC KZPCM (option KZPCM-DA) is a PCI combination two channel SCSI Host Bus Adapter and 10/100 Ethernet Network Interface. It is a rebadged IntraServer ITI-4280UE. Cards sold directly by IntraServer may or may not be compatible with Digital UNIX and/or OpenVMS depending on the ROMs present.
On Alpha systems, the requirements are:
- Windows NT 4.0
- OpenVMS 7.1-1H1 or higher
- Digital UNIX 4.0D or higher
- Firmware Update CD 5.0 or higher
Driver
The manual indicates these cards originally came with three driver disks: one for Windows NT 4.0, one for Digital UNIX 4.0D, and one for OpenVMS 7.1-1H1 and 7.1-1H2. The original driver disks don't appear to have been archived anywhere, but newer versions of OpenVMS and Digital UNIX than those listed above should support these cards out of the box. For Windows NT, the following drivers are available from Symbios/LSI Logic who made the SCSI chips on the card:
- 85C875 driver v4.13 for NT 3.51 and NT 4.0 on Alpha, 10/25/99 - this was the latest driver for Alpha NT as of November 2001 (probably the final driver version given Alpha NT was dead by this point)
