Original question:
Is there any terminal emulator (for unix, not only Dunix)
which permits colors ?
I've just installed the new tcsh 6.08 from
ftp://ftp.gw.com/pub/unix/tcsh
and now it permits ls-F to show different kinds of file using
different colors. But xterm (which is a vt102 emulation) only
permits to set the colors of background,foreground,pointer,...
Using xterm, instead of colors I get highlighting which is not
as powerfull (and gracefull) as colors.
New tcsh color work properly on dxterm, but I would like to avoid
dxterm so that the new tcsh could work with colors even on my non-DEC
machines.
