We have an APC ups with powerchute plus S/W for unix but can not
get the install script to deliver a monochrome monitor module. We
do not run X and I can not get a non-X monitor program. I was
wondering if any one else had a similar problem. I have received 2
additional CDs from APC but the install script on these CDs acts in
exactly the same way.
Interestingly the manual does say that the install script will only
install a xpowerchute executable and not a character based module
but I can't believe I am the only one out there not running X and
using powerchute plus.
Any ideas? I would at least like to configure the daemon to mail the
admin accounts in the event of an outage but the documentation
always refers to using the monitor program to do this and gives not
details about how to configure it otherwise.
