TP Web Connector is designed to provide seamless Web access to business applications running on ACMS.

Features and benefits

  • Provides a common interface for ACMS applications making the Web applications highly portable.
  • Enables ACMS applications to take advantage of the Web with little or no change to existing applications.
  • Allows customers to move from expensive, private leased lines to more cost-effective Internet/Intranet environments.
  • Converts C and Automation data types on Windows to OpenVMS data types as required by ACMS applications.
  • Lets developers utilize any desktop tool that supports development with Automation, C-language, or Java.
  • Provides a high-performance, multithreaded web server environment.
  • Includes extensions to the ACMS Application Definition Utility (ADU) to support the generation of STDL definitions from ACMS applications making it easier to web-enable existing ACMS applications.
  • Includes a TP Web Connector Gateway that communicates with the ACMS Execution Controllers.
