Christopher Francis Crowe was born in 1966 in Christchurch, New Zealand. He works for a company in his home city as a database administrator and works with several Microsoft products. He has several Microsoft certifications and has passed a number of Microsoft MCP exams. Chris has been involved in providing support for the Microsoft public newsgroups since 1997 and has answered thousands of questions in the newsgroups over the years. He has been the recipient of the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award for five consecutive years in recognition of his technical expertise, community spirit, leadership and willingness to help his peers and customers. Chris enjoys helping people with their problems, and feels that it is nice to know that he may have helped someone. He knows what it is like when something doesn't work and a solution is hard to find. Chris feels that the Microsoft public newsgroups are an excellent place for people to share their knowledge.

Chris is a member of the Australia and New Zealand MVPs. He started the IISFAQ Web site two years ago with the idea that he can group the information that people are always looking for on IIS, but is spread out over the Internet. Chris enjoys programming and scripting and you can obtain several scripts for administering IIS from the popular ADSI section in his Web site.
