Jimmy runs his own company, Q Advice AB. As an IT consultant and trainer, he also frequently speaks at seminars and conferences around the world. Jimmy’s area of expertise is Active Directory and enterprise-level implementations.

Alex holds MCSE, MCP+I, and MCP certificates and has worked as an independent IT consultant catering to small business for over five years. He has written technical notes for Windows & .NET Magazine and currently specializes in automation and remote management.

Torgeir is a senior system consultant with Norsk Hydro in Porsgrunn, Norway. He works largely with unattended software install packages on Windows NT workstations using VBScript, WMI, Windows Installer and other core OS technologies.

Jeff is a 15-year IT veteran with multiple computer certifications. He set up the first ISP in southwestern Florida in 1992, using Windows NT 3.5 as a mail and Web server. He currently works as a senior network specialist for the City of Naples, Florida.

Chris is a database administrator from Christchurch, New Zealand who has earned several Microsoft certifications. He has provided continuous support as a Microsoft MVP for over five years, answering thousands of questions in various newsgroups.

Mike started his computer career as a word processor at SmithKline Beecham in Pennsylvania, PA. After receiving help from Microsoft MVPs during his three years there, he took the position of MIS Manager at a nearby law firm and became an MVP himself.

Matthew worked as an intern at the Crocker Nuclear Laboratory in California while attending UC Davis. After earning his degree, he accepted a research position at Crocker, where he converted the entire network to thin clients and terminal server architecture.

Brett holds MCSE, MCP+I, and MCT certificates, writes IIS Informant, a regular column appearing in Windows & .NET Magazine, and operates the IIS Answers Web site. In addition, Brett assisted Microsoft with course 2295a—Implementing and Supporting IIS 5.0.

Thomas earned an MBA in Management Information Systems and is the law department Webmaster at the AT&T Corporate Headquarters in New Jersey. He provides technical management for a team of 15 developers with an internal client base of over 2000 users.

Mat retired from the Air Force after 20 years of service and comprehensive experience with electronics and computers. He currently runs his own business maintaining and repairing computer systems and actively participates in security and MSI newsgroups.

Tom has been working with computers for over 20 years, and has been an MVP for the last 6 years. He currently works as a contractor for the US government, primarily testing software applications used by the military including standalone and Microsoft networked systems.

Slav hails from Ukraine, where he earned a master of sciences in mathematics at Dnipropetrovsk University. He currently works for a major financial institution in Melbourne, Australia as a .NET and Linux infrastructure designer and security consultant.

Cláudio is a senior technical architect in Ottawa, Canada. He has been working with server-based computing technologies since 1993 and has written many related articles. He co-owns MC3 Digital Solutions Inc., providing consulting services across North America.

Dave is chief technologist at Genesis II Associates, a systems design and integration firm based near Hartford, Connecticut. Dave’s specialties include Active Directory, Exchange, and Systems Management Server design, and he has developed many Microsoft frameworks initiatives.

Phil has worked as a computer programmer for over 25 years, including experience with Windows Installer for the past three years. He has published several COM, Windows Installer, and .NET articles for Windows Developer Journal.
