NetWare Client Archive

A large archive of NetWare clients is available from ftp.zx.net.nz. Start by picking a platform:

• DOS, Windows 3.x
• Windows 95 and 98 (and maybe Windows ME)
• Windows NT, 2000, XP and 2003
• Windows Vista and newer (Requires NetWare 5.0 or newer)
• OS/2
• Classic MacOS

See also: Microsoft Client for NetWare - on NT this is the only one available for non-x86 platforms. Its also the best available client for NT 3.1 and maybe NT 3.50 too.

Third-party Clients

• For RiscOS - Currently 26bit variants only, free with source code available.
• Amiga - the Amiga Client Software for Novell Netware product by Oxxi. Looks like it was never released for free when discontinued so finding a legal copy is likely difficult now - more info
• FreeBSD - nwfs (Added in FreeBSD 4.0, removed after version 9.3)
• Linux - ncpfs
• IRIX - has nwlogin, nwfs, nwmount commands. Unsure if these were written by Novell or SGI.
• Solaris/SunOS - SolarNet LAN Client form SunSoft, prices started at US$299 per user
